Before I taught in Great Neck, I was a student here. I attended Clover Drive from first grade through second grade and Kensington Johnson from third through fifth. After elementary school I went on to South.
At the University of Vermont I majored in American History and received my masters in elementary education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I began my teaching career at Horace Mann Elementary School in Washington, D.C. as a fourth grade teacher. At the Riverdale Country School in Riverdale, New York I continued to teach fourth grade and was so happy to be back home. I have been teaching at JFK since 1996, first as a classroom teacher, then as the science teacher, and now as the S.E.E.K. teacher.
